Monty Burns The Worker
The voice-over actors for the Spanish version of The Simpsons have gone on strike. The company which hires them has breached its contract by hiring non-union workers, though it claims that because its name has changed the contract is anyway void. Hah.
These actors earn about $40 per episode. Perhaps ironically, the main US simpsons cast struck over pay last year too. Apparently $125,000 an episode wouldn't do...
